You'll be extremely disappointed to find this disc in a case which will not fit with your other CDs. The original bespoke Letraset artwork by Chris Cobilis is photocopied onto bakers paper with keen precision. True to the title, Never Give Up is an album that refuses to die with other weaker obsolete media. This CD is STRONG and will give you COURAGE.

about

The joke that wouldn't die.

Originally an attempt to ridicule the New Rock Revolution of the early 00s (Jet, Darkness et. al.) Sabre Tooth Tigers was a gag-band side-project of Perth indie rock group The Tigers. What emerged was an honesty borne of irony; Never Give Up won the hearts and minds local music aficionados, resulting in STT supporting numerous touring bands and playing virtually every live venue in Perth.

From 2004 onwards STT performed the same set of songs, often twice in one performance- very often badly- all the while seemingly immune to the basic principles of local music logic (i.e. not playing well will result in not getting booked again, the law of diminishing returns will diminish your audience etc)

Without scrutiny, STT were free to continue to replicate the same image, the same songs and the same joke. In 2015 STT gigged the now 10 year old set of material in Perth. Still, nobody seemed to notice.

Elements of Never Give Up were used without permission or remuneration in the Rusty surfing video entitled No Way Man.
